St. Louis is already synonymous to danger. There were almost 6,000 recorded violent crime cases in 2015 alone, and 188 of them involved murder. Considering its population, the rate of murder is 59 per 100,000 people. This is extremely alarming. There is no sign of slowing down though. Recently, St. Louis was back in the news after the shooting of police officers on duty.
