Atlanta is among the fastest growing cities in the US. It also has a lot of wealthy communities. Despite that, it is still a home to some of the most dangerous neighborhoods. The McDaniel Street and Mary Street for instance have a reputation due to the occurrence of violence every now and then. This might have something to do with the drug trade which is very common among the poorest areas of the city. There was even a time when a man was assaulted because the locals felt he was not welcomed in their community.
