The Portuguese Man o’ War can seem harmless and beautiful at first, but this is one of the most deadly jellyfish around. It’s sting leaves a somewhat whipped mark, which is excruciatingly painful that can last for a lot of days. The toxins released by the sting can lead to shock, high fever, and can even lead the heart or lungs to cease from functioning. In worst case scenarios, it can lead to an untimely death.
