The crime numbers went down for the University of California – Los Angeles. Only 12 forcible rapes were filed, 3 acts of arson, 18 vehicle burglaries, 625 larceny cases, 195 property burglaries, 11 robberies, and 17 aggravated assaults. Although the numbers are still high, school authorities are taking these figures seriously by having the UCLA police patrol every part of the campus. Their presence alone might prevent students from committing one crime after another.
