Tsetse Flies
The Tse Tse fly is well known as Africa’s deadliest biting insect. These are extremely dangerous insects that eat the blood of other animals. Each sting they make contains lethal venom. During their younger stage, the sting of a Tsetse fly can put their victims into a sleeping sickness. Without the right medications, the victim of a tsetse can die. Around 500,000 of the people in Africa died due to the attacks of tsetse flies.
