Rattlesnake
When thoughts of venomous snakes are verbalized, rattlesnakes are always in the topic. There is very good reason why they are number two on the most dangerous snakes list. This is a type of viper that can be found in most parts of the U.S. These snakes are named after the rattling sound made by their tail. Among the snakes of their kind, the eastern Diamondback holds the most lethal venom of all. Because of antidote availability, fatalities are kept to a minimum.
