Blue Shark
The Blue shark (Prionace glauca) is one of the most common deep water sharks. It ranges from as far north as Norway, and as far south as Chile. The adult Blue shark can reach lengths of 12 feet. As a large deep water predator, it has few natural enemies, except for whale sharks as well as larger sharks including the Bull shark. There have been 34 known Blue shark attacks, with 4 casualties.
