TYRANNOSAURUS REX
The name translates directly to ‘Tyrant Lizard’. Fossils dug up by experts show that they lived about 67 million years ago. They ruled the western part of North America. Its scientific classification is ‘Reptilia’ and it belongs to the ‘Tyrannosauridae’ family. They usually stood at about 13 feet in height and weighed over 6 tons. They have a volatile temper and are known hunters. Its long and heavy tail provide great balance while on the move.
