Giant Japanese Hornet
There is a lot to be afraid of the Giant Japanese Hornet. Aside from being the world’s largest hornet, its sting is so lethal it results in death. Upon maturity they measure 2 inches. Naturally bold and violent, they can consume 40 honey bee larvae in one minute. Their venom causes allergic reactions which can dissolve tissues instantly. Repeated stinging can kill their victims. There are 700 members in one colony. Yearly, 40 deaths recorded are from their sting.
