On the top spot is the Sea Wasp Box Jellyfish. This is by far the number one deadliest jellyfish in the world. There were documented 5,568 deaths associated with a sea wasp box jellyfish. There are fifteen tentacles found on this kind of jellyfish, and they extend to as much as 10’ long. Each tentacle has around 500,000 darts. These miniscule darts are packed with venomous toxins. Each tentacle would literally kill up to sixty or more people.
