To begin with, Memphis was ranked as one of the 10 dirtiest cities in America. This is not the biggest problem they are facing though. The bigger issue is that in recent years, the city has seen an increase of 14% in murder rate. Violent crimes in general have also gone up by 4.5%. Despite the fact that the economy is getting better recently, this Memphis’ neighborhood is one of those that were totally worst off.
