The Northern Funnel Web Spider
Among its type, the Northern Funnel Web Spider is the biggest. Found in Australia, when fully stretched it can reach lengths of up to 3 inches. Trees are its favorite dwelling places. It also has a nasty habit of swimming in water. This makes swimming pools its second most favorite hub. Most of its encounters with humans happen in privately owned pools. The most common attack happens when humans try to take it out of the water. Beware, this is the most dangerous spider on the planet.
