San Pedro Sula, Honduras
The dubious distinction of being the most dangerous city has been a rotation among Acapulco, Caracas and San Pedro Sula in Honduras. This time it was San Pedro Sula. The drug problem, mixed with gang rivalry has made the crime rates increase. There were 171.20 homicides per 100,000 residents, which is a big jump from the homicide rates of Acapulco and Caracas.
