Cuiabá, Brazil
Cuiabá is the capital city of the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso. Located almost in the geographical center of the continent, Cuiabá is also known as the “Southern gate to the Amazon.” It was one of the Brazilian cities where games of the 2014 FIFA World Cup was played. It also had 56.46 homicides per 100,000 residents.
