Vitoria, is the capital of Espirito Santo in Brazil. It has a population of 315,000 people. It also has 57 homicides per 100,000 residents. Located in a bay, Vitoria is part of the Greater Vitoria metropolitan area. Although it lies on the coast, where a few rivers meet the sea, it is also near the mountainous regions of Espirito Santo. Tourism is one of the main attractions of the city.
