Lukla Airport in Nepal
To begin with, this airport is situated at one of the highest altitudes in the world – 8,000 feet. It also has no modern air traffic control features. There are no lights and with very little electric power. Most people who are brave enough to land at this airport are mountaineers. After all, they have a much tougher journey ahead and landing at this dangerous airport is nothing.
