St. Maarten is a perfect tourist destination. It has pristine beaches, white sands and accommodating people. Before you get the chance to enjoy the island though, you have to fly over a little part of the beach just before the plan lands. It crossed over the fence at just about the right height and the runway is just 7,150 feet long.
