Taal Volcano, Philippines
The volcano sits in Taal Lake. The surrounding ridges serve home to millions of people. Its eruption in 1572 was the first ever recorded and has had 33 others since then. Majority of these eruptions are considered non-violent, but they are strong enough to cause damage to its structure. Throughout its history, there have been about 5,000 or more fatalities due to these explosions. The best way to view this little time bomb is from very far away.
