The Chilean Recluse Spider
Due to the similarity of its looks, the Brown Recluse Spider will pass as its closest relative. However, the Chilean Recluse Spider is more lethal. It is notorious for having the most toxic venom in the Recluse family of spiders. There are reported cases that men died from its bite. This spider is popularly found in Southwest Europe. It is called “arana de Rincon” or corner spider in Spain. These brown spiders go by the name of “aranha-marrom” in Portugal.
