Mount Vesuvius will always make the list of dangerous volcanoes in the world because of its power. The last recorded was in 1944. Previous to that, its eruption cycle shows that it does so every 2 decades. What is baffling about it is that people on the western side live within 5 miles of this destructive force. This is the where the populous city of Naples is located. Hundreds and thousands of people might suffer in the next explosion.
